About
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haluk Çelik graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, where he developed a particular focus on arthroscopic surgery, especially shoulder and knee surgery.
To strengthen his international experience, in 2014 he worked with Dr. Gary Gartsman on shoulder surgery at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in the USA, and in 2017 he completed a sports surgery fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego. During this period he served at Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital and earned the title of Associate Professor in 2020.
Between 2021 and 2025 he practiced as an orthopedics and traumatology specialist at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital, and since 2025 he has been serving at Memorial Ataşehir Hospital. Between 2016 and 2020 he served as team physician for the Turkish National Women's Basketball Team, gaining extensive field experience in athlete health.
